How does bullfinch causes a damage to the crop ?

A brightly-coloured FINCH found across Europe and Asia fromthe British Isles to Japan. It generally inhabits woodlands. Bullfinches feed on buds and seeds, causing enormous damage to fruit trees as they work their way along the branches from the tips, stripping the buds as they go. They do this after supply of seeds has been exhausted. Their nests are made of fine twigs with moss and lichen and are build hedgerows. There may be 3 clutches of 4 to 5 eggs.
